HEATHER HUGHES — President
With 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry and a family heritage in farming and agriculture, Heather is uniquely qualified to lead a company that produces the highest quality and most effective CBD products. She understands, directs and participates in every step of creation, from plant to person.
Heather grew up in Jamestown, North Dakota. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and an MBA at North Dakota State University, Fargo. She then moved to Southern California where she began working in healthcare management, and also purchased a fully functioning citrus farm.
While Heather worked as Director of Care Coordination for a major health care management company, she became aware of the harsh realities of opioid and other prescription drug abuse.
She also realized the benefits of using industrial hemp-derived CBD as an option for treating an extraordinary number of ailments. So she and her husband applied to the California Department of Food and Agriculture and became registered to cultivate industrial hemp.
Meanwhile, a group of like-minded colleagues asked her to join them in creating a CBD company that would help patients manage chronic conditions like pain and anxiety in a more natural, plant-based way. After hundreds of hours of research, product testing and consultation, Heather and her team brought BioFit360 to market, sourcing their products from the most trusted manufacturers with the highest ratings. The eventual goal is to grow premium industrial hemp with ultimate quality control for BioFit360 CBD, right there on her farm.
In addition to working with BioFit 360, Heather is the busy mother of three, is active in animal rescue, and in her rare moments of leisure, she enjoys curling up with a good book and a cup of hot tea.
KATELIN MABRY — Director of Operations
Katelyn is a rare combination of both left and right brain skills that enable her to be refreshingly creative and simultaneously laser focused and organized.
She has a BA in Studio Art from the University California Riverside, which has enabled her to excel in breaking down extremely complicated information in a creative way. Professionally, she has been using those skills to help doctors understand the the necessary business procedures to keep their practices afloat.
Katelin worked as a Business Analyst with Heather Hughes for five years before BioFit360 was founded, and their mutual interests in healthcare, nutrition, sustainable farming and the environment, plus Katelin’s gifts for organization and creative problem solving, made her a natural choice for Heather’s first recruit to the BioFit360 team.
As she looks forward to the birth to her first child, Katelin loves spending time with her family, which also includes her husband and two mini-Schnauzers. In the little leisure time that remains, you’ll find Katelin painting with oils, cooking gourmet meals, or just being outside enjoying nature.
LISA JOHNSON MANDELL — Director of Communications
Lisa is a bestselling author, multi-media journalist and communications specialist, whose experience working with major media outlets and consumers alike gives her a distinct advantage in bringing the BioFit360 message to the masses.
Lisa has created award winning content for media companies including NBC, CBS, ABC, News Corp., CNN, CNBC, HGTV, Discovery, PBS, BBC, Tribune, Yahoo, AOL and many others, as well as publications like The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times.
Lisa has a degree in journalism from Brigham Young University, and, after living and studying in Spain and Mexico, is fluent in Spanish. She has traveled extensively, and has been a popular speaker at conferences and events worldwide.
While Lisa’s career has involved interviewing many prominent celebrities and experts and touring glamorous locations, she is eager to turn her attention and efforts to BioFit360, where she feels she can make a significant difference by enhancing people’s health, wellbeing and quality of life.
When when she steps away from her professional duties at BioFit360, Lisa can be found roaming the streets with her giant white labradoodle, therapy dog Frankie Feldman, reading fiction, reviewing films and television shows and attempting to stay fit.
AUBREE ANTON — Product Manager/Customer Satisfaction
Aubree keeps things afloat at BioFit360, which is fitting, since she's almost always at the beach or at the pool when not using her many professional talents to keep BioFit360 customers happy and healthy.
Aubree earned her B.S. degree in Biology with a minor in Forensic Science from Purdue University. She then started a career in pharmaceutical research, but made the transition to healthcare, with the desire to help people more directly.
As BioFit360’s main customer service representative, Aubree reaches out to customers to ensure satisfaction, and uses their input to help the company better meet their needs. Aubree is a key player in ensuring that BioFit360 enhances wellness on multiple levels.
Outside of BioFit360, Aubree coaches high school waterpolo and works with athletic individuals as a certified health, wellness, and lifestyle coach to help them reach their performance goals.
BRIDGET R. BRIGGS, M.D. — Medical Consultant
Bridget R. Briggs, M.D. has spent more than 20 years of experience as a board certified Family Medicine Physician who specializes in functional and integrative medicine, bio-identical hormones, lipidology, women’s health, epigenetics, nutritional balance and detoxification.
She received her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology at the University of California at Los Angeles and obtained her Medical Degree at the University of California at San Diego. Dr. Briggs pursued her love of women’s health in an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas. She then completed a three-year residency in Family Medicine at Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
She currently practitices in Murrieta, California, and is certified by the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. She is also a member of the IFM, ABFM, and the NLA.
Dr. Briggs is a popular speaker throughout the US, and presents with some of the most prestigious speakers in functional medicine, including Dr. Jeffrey Bland and Dr. Mark Hyman.
She believes, however, that her most important job and greatest joy is serving as the busy mother of five.
